About Our Project Engineer Position
Working closely with project managers, site supervisors, and craft personnel, you'll ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications. This dynamic role offers a blend of office and field tasks, providing hands-on experience in diverse projects, including bridge, rail, marine, utility, and roadway construction.
Responsibilities include:
Daily interaction with project managers, site supervisors, and craft personnel to support planning, scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management
Review of plans and specifications to ensure compliance with all contract requirements
Site inspections for quality, safety, and daily work progress and cost coding
Preparation of required submittals, RFI’s, payment requests, and change orders
Candidate Qualifications
We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, driven to succeed, and passionate about making a difference in the world. The Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Additionally, a previous internship in heavy civil construction is preferred but not required.
