PROJECT DETAILS:
This design-build project required the construction of a new bridge over 4 lanes on Route 24 during a 6-week shutdown period. MAS, WSP and Fort Miller worked to design a concept consisting primarily of precast substructure components and prefabricated bridge units (PBUs). MAS demolished the existing bridge and installed the new structure ahead of the 6-week milestone. This project has been awarded the CMAA Project Achievement Award in the <$10Mil category.
