Norton Reservoir Dam Improvements
PROJECT DETAILS:
This Contract with the Town of Norton was the completion of Phase II of the Norton Reservoir Dam Improvements Project. Work included the repair and re-facing of the concrete dam structures around the site, including the secondary spillway and the gate house. Also completed was the replacement of the stop logs and slidegate systems within the gatehouse itself, new fencing, and the installation of Articulated Concrete Blocks (ACB’s) which preserve the life of the dam and protect against future erosion and flooding in the area.
